Bookslut Saturday: “Aziraphale collected books. If he were totally honest with himself he would have to have admitted that his bookshop was simply somewhere to store them.”

I find this to be ridiculously amazing, and I want it with a ferocity that is all but physically painful.

And then I found the Etsy shop trafalgarsquare, and absolutely fell in love:

Some days, it occurs to me that I really do want to run my own bookshop, if only so that
a. I can decorate it with things like these, and so
b. I can use it as a place to store all of my own books.

Because I really am Aziraphale:

“Aziraphale collected books. If he were totally honest with himself he would have to have admitted that his bookshop was simply somewhere to store them. He was not unusual in this. In order to maintain his cover as a typical second-hand book seller, he used every means short of actual physical violence to prevent customers from making a purchase. Unpleasant damp smells, glowering looks, erratic opening hours – he was incredibly good at it.”
Good Omens

Also I want to run a bookshop so that I can buy dozens of these and write them all off as an actual business expense:

And now…back to my own bookslutting!

Finished Lauren DeStefano’s Perfect Ruin yesterday (love), and am now working my way through Stephen King’s Doctor Sleep (also love).

Expect proper reviews of both soon!
